Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

When you create an account: your name, email address, and password (stored hashed, never in plain text). When you use Ebook Creator: the books, outlines, chapters, and source documents you create or upload, your credit balance and purchase history, and support messages you send us. We also collect basic usage analytics (pages visited, buttons clicked) and, if you arrived from an ad, campaign identifiers such as UTM parameters.

2. How we use it

• To generate, store, and let you edit and export your books.
• To process payments and maintain your credit balance.
• To send transactional email — account verification, password resets, purchase receipts, and notifications when a book or export finishes (or fails). You can turn off non-essential notification emails from your profile page, or unsubscribe with one click from any email we send.
• To respond to support requests.
• To measure which pages and features are actually used.

3. Sub-processors we use

We rely on the following third parties to run the service. Each only receives the data it needs to do its job:

• Anthropic — generates outlines, chapters, and continuity reviews from your book's brief, settings, and any source documents you upload.
• fal.ai — generates AI cover art and audiobook narration from your book's title, genre, and chapter text.
• Stripe — processes credit-pack purchases. We never see or store your card number.
• Resend — delivers transactional email on our behalf.
• Cloudflare R2 — stores your uploaded files, generated covers, chapter images, and exported book files.
• Umami — privacy-focused, cookieless product analytics.
• Meta Pixel — loaded only on our ad-campaign landing pages, to measure ad performance.

4. Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. Visitors who arrive through an ad-campaign quiz get a short-lived (30-day) cookie that attributes their eventual signup, so we can grant the associated free credits once — it is deleted as soon as that happens.

5. Data retention & deletion

We keep your data as long as your account is active. Deleting your account from your profile page permanently removes your books, chapters, versions, covers, uploaded source documents, and support messages, along with the underlying files in storage.

6. Your rights

You can access and export your books at any time from the dashboard. You can correct your account details from your profile page, and delete your account and data at any time. For any other request — including a full data export or a question about this policy — contact us through the in-app support chat.

7. Changes

We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
